Lenovo Miix 630 was recently launched on the official website of Lenovo North America. The two-in-one laptop, which debuted at CES 2018, is among the first Always Connected PCs that support Qualcomm Snapdragon, featuring gigabit 4G LTE support and battery life of up to 20 hours. The newly released Miix 630 features the 12-month 4G LTE traffic service program for use in the United States, which is offered by Lenovo Connect, and is a new product integrating computing and communication.

As opposed to a traditional laptop, the Miix 630 is an Always Connected PC. It has a distinct advantage in 4G network support, thanks to Snapdragon 835, which integrates network functions into the processor and supports real-time connectivity, enabling 4G connectivity without the need for an additional interface or device. In other words, with a single SIM card, the Miix 630 Snapdragon-empowered laptop can be online 24/7. More significantly, the Miix 630 has the built-in SIM service (eSIM) offered by Lenovo Connect. So, users can switch to the local network as soon as they leave the plane at an overseas destination and thus enjoy local rates without transnational roaming costs.Lenovo Connect has made a considerable investment in IoT services around the world. Based on a wealth of connection resources and localized operations teams worldwide, Lenovo Connect has created one-stop smart interaction device solutions that allow devices to be connected indefinitely.

Lenovo Connect focuses on the eSIM service and applies it to smart interaction devices such as laptops/tablets and smart headphones as well as to IoV. By building an IoT network across multiple operators, it solves the problems related to the multinational operation and management of enterprise products. Thus the launch of the Miix 630 is the logical extension of Lenovo Connect to the field of smart interaction devices and the further implementation of the Lenovo Connect eSIM service. It also signifies the fact that Lenovo Connect has become the first MVNO in China to launch localized IoT services in the United States.

Dr. Martin Wang, vice president of Lenovo Group and general manager of Lenovo Connect, said, "Lenovo Connect has rich connection resources and can directly connect to global communication operator systems. Customers who connect to our platform can enjoy a variety of services around the world. Furthermore, Lenovo has localized operation teams in 163 countries and regions, so we can provide efficient support and guarantee for customers' global production, marketing and R&D. In the future, by giving full play to the advantages of global services, we'll carry out IoT services in more than 80% of countries as we provide customers with one-stop connection management and device management services."
